Anurag Kashyap's Kennedy had a midnight screening at Cannes Film Festival's 76th edition and pictures from it were shared on social media by Cannes Film Festival's official Instagram page. The pictures feature the film's lead actors Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat. "Return on the Red Steps of Kennedy by Anurag Kashyap. With the film crew," read the caption. Pictures from the film's photo call were also shared on Cannes' official Instagram page. Backed by Zee Studios and Good Bad Films, Kennedy is essentially a noir film directed by Anurag Kashyap.

Ahead of the screening, Sunny Leone had posted this and she wrote, "Our Film Kennedy official tickets! Sold out in minutes...so proud."
The desi representation was super strong at the film festival this year. The attendees included veteran Aishwarya Rai Bacchan, actors Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Varma, Sara Ali Khan, Urvashi Rautela, Mouni Roy. Aditi Rao Hydari and Anushka Sharma are expected to walk the red carpet soon.
