Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett will make her maiden trip to India next month for the prestigious Women in the World summit to be held on November 20. (Also Read: Cate Blanchett Reveals She Had 'Many' Relationships With Women)
Actress Shabana Azmi, who will co-host the summit, shared the news on Twitter:
Women in the World summit was launched in 2010 by Tina Brown, the British-born former editor in chief of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker.
The summit brings together women leaders, activists and political change-makers from around the world to share their stories, and offer solutions to building a better life for women and girls.
Actor Aamir Khan attended the World in the World New York summit earlier this year. The PK star spoke on rape and 'masculinity' at the coveted global event.
