Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones will star in Allen Hughes directed drama Broken City.
The 42-year-old will appear alongside Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe in the film, in which she will play the cheating wife of the New York mayor, played by Crowe, reported Deadline.
Wahlberg will play a Brooklyn detective, who is hired by the mayor to identify his spouse's lover but when the man turns up dead, the detective uncovers a wider conspiracy involving the politician.
The script has been written by Brian Tucker, while Wahlberg is also co-producing it. Jones, who underwent treatment for Bipolar II disorder, also known as manic depression, will also be seen playing an evil character in the Tom Cruise starrer Rock of Ages.
