Los Angeles: Superstar singer Celine Dionwho is expecting twins, has been checked into a hospital toavoid premature delivery.
The 43-year-old who conceived after many attempts atin-vitro fertilization has been admitted to St. Mary's MedicalCenter in Florida for observation at the recommendation of herdoctors, reported People magazine.
The star's spokesperson said that it was merely apreventive measure, "done to ensure the patient can be inclose contact with their doctors and clinical resources,leading up to the birth."
"There is nothing scheduled. We do not have a date forthe babies' birth," he had said.
The singer suffered a miscarriage last year as sheattempted to carry her second child to term. Dion and musicproducer Angelil have a nine-year-old son, called ReneCharles.
