New Delhi:
Turning 30 producer Prakash Jha and director Alankrita Srivastava claim that Censor Board chief Sharmila Tagore's latest statements are nothing but shocking for them.
Shortly after the film's release, Tagore made it clear to the press that the promos being aired were not given the required censor certification and certain aspects of the promo have been found to be objectionable.
But Alankrita claims, "We have copies of the censor certificate which we will release to the media today. No channel will air film promos without proper certification. It is shocking that after the film's release, the censor finds the womem characters in the film objectionable, On the other hand, they allow songs Sheila Ki Jawani and Munni Badnaam Hui which portray women in a derogatory manner. What they disapprove of is the modern liberated woman. This is shocking."
