Censorship worked in <i>Kyaa Super Kool...</i> favour: Tusshar Kapoor
Mumbai: Actor Tusshar Kapoor, whose KyaaSuper Kool Hain Hum had run into controversies because ofits bold content, feels that the whole chaos surrounding thetrailer has worked in the film's favour.

The production team then worked on a fresh new trailerwhile releasing the earlier one on the internet.

"It worked in our favour as it gave us an opportunity toshow different trailers and not stick to just one. And withthe access to internet, uncensored trailer was put on YouTubeso we didn't face any problems in terms of publicity. I thinktoday internet is the best way to promote a film. We got greatresponses from the uncensored trailer as well as the censoredone," Tusshar told PTI.

The movie is a sequel to the 2005 release Kyaa Super KoolHain Humand stars Tusshar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Neha Sharma andSarah Jane Dias. It hits the theatres on July 27.

Tusshar, 35, says he doesn't understand why some peoplehave issues with this film when they are quite comfortablewatching a Hollywood sex comedy.

"People can watch films like American Pie but haveproblem with this film. They are all cynical and these are alldouble standards. And we have been very open from the startsaying that this film is for certain audience and not meantfor the kids.

"Youngsters want to watch such films and they are matureenough to understand. Some people will always have problemsand they just need a reason, I don't care about such people,"he said.

Although there is a gap of seven years between the firstfilm and the sequel, Tusshar says he was equally excited to dothe film and had a blast shooting for the film.

"We were waiting for the right script to come. We wantedto surpass the expectations of the people with this one. It'snot easy to make a sex comedy. The script should have a soulit should identify with people. Kyaa Kool.. is pioneer in sexcomedy.

"I was as excited to do this one as I was before, I likedthe script and I think Sachin (director) has done a fabulousjob. It's not easy to make the audience laugh for two hours."

The movie is directed by Sachin Yardi and produced byTusshar's brother Ekta Kapoor.

The actor says his father Jeetendra doesn't mind himdoing such cinema.

"Dad is happy with the film and he has been a commercialactor himself so he understands what the audience wants andwhat works. He has no problems with me doing such films and wedo watch such movies together and there is no embarrassingmoment between us," he added.

Tusshar, who has been in the industry for more than adecade, is mostly known for his multi starrers like Golmaal,Shor In The City and The Dirty Picture.

Some of his solo films have failed to create magic atthe box office and the actor says he will be more careful withpicking up his next solo project.

"I would be more careful when taking up a solo projectnow. I would love to do a solo film but also it doesn't matterif the movie is a multi-starrer or a solo because what mattersis how are you contributing towards the project.

"And with solo projects it's not only the script thatmatters but also the producer and director. I have learnt frommy mistakes in the past and will be more focused now,"he said.
