London:
Channing Tatum wishes he had paid closer attention at school.
The 31-year-old Dear John star "couldn't wait" to leave high school but regrets not departing with a few more skills.
He said: "I could not wait to get out of high school. When graduation day came, I could not get out fast enough. It wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't something I enjoyed.
"I probably would have done some things differently, but only if that means that everything still works out how it has. I'm happy where I'm at now.
"I really do wish I would have listened a little bit more in school. I was always like, 'I don't understand why I'm doing this. I don't know how I'm going to use any of this later in life'.
Meanwhile, the actor has found a new "bestie" in the form of his 21 Jump Street co-star Jonah Hill.
He told Parade magazine: "Jonah is a really fun, hilarious person, and I just love talking to the guy. If we were besties in high school, we would probably just end staying up all night talking on the phone and having sleepovers and stuff."
When he isn't working, Channing loves nothing more than catching up on some much-needed rest.He added: "I love sleeping. On Sundays, I do nothing but sit and play with my dog. We have a little patio at my house and we just sit out on the patio and just lay out and sleep."
