Charles Ferguson, the manbehind the Academy award-winning documentary 'Inside Job' isall set to direct HBO Films' movie on Julian Assange, theWikiLeaks founder.
Ferguson will also produce the movie with Audrey Marrsif it gets the production greenlight. The movie is executiveproduced by Joshua Maurer, Alixandre Witlin and David Stern.
Assange dominated the headlines in November when heput the US government in a fix by publishing secret diplomaticcables.
He was also accused of rape and sexual assault and isnow on bail but faces extradition to Sweden for questioning. Two feature films about Assange also are in the works,at DreamWorks and Universal.
The present movie would mark Ferguson's firstnon-documentary project. His other credits include theOscar-nominated 'No End in Sight', about the Americanoccupation of Iraq.
Inside Job, which examined what led to the globalfinancial crisis of 2008, won the best feature documentaryaward at this year's Oscars.
