Troubled actor Charlie Sheen's divorce from Brooke Mueller has been finalised.
The 45-year-old actor's marriage hit headlines in 2009 when he was arrested on Christmas Day following a bust-up with his wife. He subsequently pleaded guilty to a charge of misdemeanour assault and was handed a suspended jail term.
The couple split, and Mueller, mother of the Sheen's twin sons, filed for divorce in January last year, which wasfinalised Monday after the former couple reached a settlement agreement, reported TMZ.
The former 'Two and a Half Men' star will pay Mueller USD 55,000 a month in child support for Bob and Max, two, as well as a lump sum of USD 757,698.
Sheen has been allowed to keep the family home in Los Angeles, but will reportedly pay Mueller USD 1 million for her share of the property.
