Pop star Alexandra Burke is planning to celebrate her topping the UK singles chart with two new tattoos.
The 22-year-old singer, who won Simon Cowell's talent show The X Factor in 2008, bagged the number one slot with Start Without You featuring Laza Morgan, reported Contactmusic.
The British singer celebrated with a performance at London's G-A-Y club over the weekend and was presented with a cake adorned with an image of Cowell's face.
But she's decided to defy her mentor and add to her body art to commemorate her chart-topping song.
"I'm sure Simon will smile when he hears we were all eating icing with a photo of his face on it. I'm celebrating going to No 1 by getting two new tattoos. Simon has told me 'No more tattoos please', but hey, I've never been one to do as I'm told," said Burke.
