Superstar Rajinikanth extended his support to people affected by the incessant rains in Tamil Nadu by donating Rs 10 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.

Actor Dhanush, who is married to Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwaryaa, also donated Rs 5 lakhs.
Meanwhile, actor Suriya and his brother Karthi have made a donation of Rs 25 lakhs while actor Vishal Krishna Reddy gave Rs 10 lakhs.
Heavy rains have pounded many parts of Tamil Nadu over the last few weeks, severely disrupting the livelihood of its people.
