The Chennai Police have formed a special team to nab the director and crew of an under production movie, for reportedly shooting without obtaining permission and disrupting public peace.
The team is on the lookout for director Rajendran and crew members, including production manager Murthy of the film "Mayavaram," a police press release here said.
The action was taken based on a complaint by one Subbulakshmi, who had alleged that the crew were creating disturbance while shooting for the film at the Burma Colony under Nandambakkam police station jurisdiction on Wednesday night.
No government or police permission had been obtained for the shooting, the release said adding a case was filed for this and for disrupting public peace.
