Pop superstar Cher regrets tryingto juggle motherhood with her chart-topping career at a youngage and believes she would have been a better parent if shehad started her family late.
The Turn Back Time hitmaker gave birth to herdaughter Chastity with her former husband Sonny Bono at theage of 23 when their double act Sonny & Cher was at the peakof its success.
The singer later married rocker Gregg Allman and had asecond child, son Elijah, in 1976.
However, Cher was often busy balancing her job as anentertainer and a mother, she fears she failed to give herkids the attention they needed, Contactmusic reported.
"I have been a good mother in fits and starts, butwhen you do work like mine, and I'm like most working mothers- they never feel like they're doing a good job becausethey're never able to devote enough time. I have a lot ofregrets about my parenting... Maybe I should have had childrenwhen I was older," said the 64-year-old singer.
