Cheryl Cole storms out of a television interview

Cheryl Cole storms out of a television interview
London: Cheryl Cole stormed out of a television interview after being asked the same question repeatedly by a prankster.

The Call My Name singer got annoyed when she thought the journalist seemingly asked her why press has turned up to speak to her at Capital FM's Summertime Ball recently.

A source told The Mirror newspaper: "Cheryl was happy to chat to the BBC, but it was a bit odd when they started asking her, 'Why are we here?'

"She took it to mean, 'Why are we at this event?' So she said that she was here promoting her new single and performing."

However they wouldn't stop there and angered her further when she realised the subject was more philosophical.

The insider continued: "They repeated, 'Why are we here?' At that point, it seemed like a dig at her for not being worthy of being on the same bill as The Wanted and Jessie J.

"They repeated it again, this time saying, 'Why are we here on Earth? There was a slight pause, and then Cheryl walked off. It was obvious by then they were being daft."

The interviewers were filming for a new BBC3 comedy prank show called The Revolution Will Be Televised, which airs later this year.

The jokers were given a space backstage At the concert earlier this month, where they managed to arrange interview time with Cheryl.

The source added: "They were wearing badges with BBC written on them, so you wouldn't expect something like this to happen."
