Cheryl Cole has ignored doctors' advice to rest following her car accident.
The Girls Aloud singer and her manager will.i.am were involved in a crash in Los Angeles on Wednesday (29.08.12) when he hit a parked car with his Cadillac but Cheryl is determined to promote her new single in the UK and has flown back with her arm in a sling.
A friend told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They were both incredibly shaken up by the incident. Cheryl felt dazed for quite a while afterwards."But despite people urging her to rest and relax, she insisted on getting on her plane and getting back into the swing of things. "She's a workaholic and in this respect, it's a good thing as it will take her mind off what happened."
Cheryl's spokesperson insisted she was feeling fine, although admitted the Under The Sun singer was initially quite shaken up.The representative said: "She is in good shape, she was initially a bit shaken up by the incident but she is all right now."Meanwhile, Cheryl has told pals the pair had been for a late night McDonalds snack after recording in the studio all day, when the accident occurred.
Friends told The Sun newspaper: "Both Cheryl and will.i.am were desperate for some food after working all day in the studio. They only intended to nip out for a quick bite -- but ended up staying up for most of the night."Cheryl joked: "I ended up having an Unhappy Meal instead".
