Jamshedpur:
Housemates of Big Boss Season 4 will get 'chhath prasad' thanks to a portal for Bhojpuri-speaking people.
The portal has taken the intiative to deliver the 'prasad' as Bhojpuri singer-cum-actor Manoj Tiwary is one of the housemates of Big Boss, a reality show organised by a private TV channel, its director Sudhir Kumar said here.
''As Tiwary is locked in the house of Big Boss he cannot participate in the chhath festival this year. Hence, we have decided to deliver the prasad to him as well as other participants,'' he said.
Tiwari and Ravi Kishen, another famous Bhojpuri artiste have been partners of the portal www.bhojpuria.com in distributing chhath prasad for the past six years.
The 'prasad' will be delivered by the representatives of the portal in Mumbai soon after the chhat festival ends on Saturday, Kumar said adding it will be handed over to the participants on Sunday.
Kumar said the distribution of the 'prasad' will provide an opportunity to the participants to understand the culture and heritage of the Bhojpuri people.
The portal, which had started on-line distribution of 'chhat prasad' and e-greetings since last year, has found good response this year and on-line bookings began yesterday, he said.
