Chitrangada says Big B is her screen idol since childhood

Chitrangada Singh is excited to sharescreen space with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan inthe upcoming film Pehle Aap Janab, which was earlier titledas Mehrunissa.
The 37-year-old model-actress, who will start shooting for thefilm in January, said it is a dream come true to star oppositeher screen idol.
"Amitabh Bachchan is timeless. He is my screen idol sincechildhood. I am extremely excited and looking forward to workingwith him in Pehle Aap Janab. We will start shooting the filmin January," Chitrangada told PTI.
For Pehle Aap Janab, Chitrangada is again teaming up withher mentor Sudhir Mishra, The duo have worked together inHazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Yeh Saali Zindagi and Inkaarin the past. The actress calls him "genius of improvisation"."His scripts are very different from the end results. Heis one person whose characters in the films have loads ofinteresting realities attached to them. His character ishonest and most importantly he always portrays women in apowerful light in his films," she said.
Mishra's last release Inkaar dealt with sexualharassment faced by women in corporate set-up. Asked what shefeels about the Tarun Tejpal issue, she said, "I don't know whatexactly happened in Tarun Tejpal's case. I just want to saythat whenever there is a powerplay by men there will always beissues like sexual harassment."
Chitrangada walked the ramp for Azva at the ongoing IndiaBridal Fashion Week in Mumbai. She graced the runway as amodern bride in fashion designer Tarun Tahilian's red lehenga.Her walk on the ramp as a bride brought the memories ofher marriage back with Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa.
"It reminded me of my marriage. I was very anxious thewhole day but the moment slipped away quickly. But today, I amfeeling very different as the outfit is specially carved for amodern bride. My whole look was designed by my friend Tarun,"she said.
