Chitrangada Singh's first item number Kaafirana has been received well
Mumbai:
Chitrangada Singh is open to doing more item songs after her first such song Kaafirana has been received well.
"I am not really focused on item songs. But I am more comfortable with dancing right now. I used to think that I may not be able to dance but I am happy with it. If something good is happening and if Farah is choreographing something, I would love to do it," the 36-year-old said here on Tuesday at an event held by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Meanwhile, when asked the reason behind Akshay Kumar's absence from Joker promotions, Chitrangada said: "I don't know why he is a part of the promotions. I believe they are going to have a baby because of which he is home quite a lot, he has not even been travelling."
"But I think in the end a film works because of it's content. I am very sure kids are going to come and enjoy it and leave it to you guys to bring enough attention to the film," she added.
Directed by Shirish Kunder, Joker also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade and Minnisha Lamba and hits theatres this Friday.
