Mumbai : Director Bedabarata Pain's upcoming film Chittagong is all set to be showcased at the opening night of the Gandhinagar International Film Festival beginning from Friday (August 30).
The film is a real life uplifting action-drama based on the little known incident in the 1930s British occupied India.
"I'm very happy that our film Chittagong is opening the Gandhinagar International Film Festival. GIFF and our film have both been done with complete honesty and dedication so it feels great to get space within a forum that shares the same soul as our film," said film's producer Sunil Bohra.
The film portrays an incredible journey of a teenager, who battles nagging self-doubts and reluctance on one hand, and a formidable enemy on the other, to achieve an impossible triumph. It features Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among the others.
