Chris Brown was sentenced to community service for his involvement in a hit-and-run accident in August.
Los Angeles:
Singer Chris Brown was arrested in Washington DC after getting involved in a fight with another man outside the W Hotel.
Brown, 24, was involved in a fight with an adult male at around 4:25 am on Sunday morning outside the hotel. The person claimed he sustained injuries, the Hollywood Reporter said quoting a metropolitan police spokesperson.
The singer and Chris Hollosy, 35, were arrested and charged with felony assault.
Brown was in Washington to play "the biggest homecoming party" at nightclub The Park along with artist August Alsina.
The venue billed it as a "Grand Finale Event."
This is not the first time that Brown has faced legal woes. He was sentenced to community service for his involvement in a hit-and-run accident in August.
The singer nearly ruined his career by assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The couple got together post the incident only to drift apart later.
He was also involved in a scuffle with Drake and his entourage in New York last year.
