Singer Chris Brown's six-year probation for assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, has come to a close.
The Los Angeles District Attorney said on Friday that the 25-year-old singer's probation has ended after Judge James Brandlin found that Chris Brown had officially completed his 1,000.5 hours of community service and the probation department concluded there were no violations, reports eonline.com.
Following the court decision, the singer tweeted:
Chrish Brown's attorney Mark Geragos said: "I couldn't be happier or more proud of CB."
After his Feb 8, 2009, attack on Rihanna, Chris was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats. In June 2009, he pleaded guilty to a felony and accepted a plea deal of community labour. Over the past few years, Chris has appeared in court multiple times regarding whether or not he violated his probation.
