Phone Booth star Colin Farrellsays he has finally kicked his habit of smoking.
A former chain-smoker, the 35-year-old Irish actoroften had to wear a nicotine patch to satisfy his cravingswhile filming on sets where the habit is banned.
But now Farrell says he has ended his relationshipwith cigarettes in a bid to get healthy, reportedContactmusic.
"It was time. I was a 40-cigarette-a-day smoker, but Iwasn't enjoying it. So, on my 34th birthday last year, I spenta day with a pack and consciously looked at every single puffuntil I smoked the last one at 11.55 that night."
"I did a whole ritual thing by writing a letter totobacco, giving it as much significance as I possibly could.I'm done with it," Farrell said.
