Actor Colin Firth has beenoffered a chance to design a burger and have it named afterhim in case he wins the Academy Award for Best Actor thisyear.
The British actor, who is nominated for an Oscar forhis role in The King's Speech has been asked by fast foodchain Burger King to create his own culinary treat, reportedContactmusic.
"We're offering our Oscar hopeful the chance to crownhis own BK classic.
"If Colin brings the coveted Oscar statuette back toBritain, we will invite him to join our chefs and create aunique celebratory burger bearing his name," a spokesman forthe restaurant chain said.
Burger King's offer comes after the 51-year-old actoradmitted his passion for the tasty snack, saying he would muchrather celebrate an Oscar win by visiting an American fastfood chain with former Academy Award winning actress HelenMirren.
"I hope we can go to In-N-Out Burger. I hear that's afavourite of Helen's. She went there after the Oscars," saidFirth.
