The controversy over Shah RukhKhan's palatial bungalow 'Mannat' has reached the SupremeCourt with the filing of a petition alleging violations by themegastar while constructing his dream house.
The petition has alleged that there were violations ofarchaeological laws and coastal regulation zone in theconstruction of Mannat.
Simpreet Singh and Amit Maruand of Mumbai approached theapex court challenging the Bombay High Court's order which haddismissed their petition against Khan.
The high court had, on January 28, dismissed the PILfiled by the duo and imposed a cost of Rs 20,000 on themsaying that it was a "publicity petition".
The PIL had alleged that the actor had constructed thebuilding inside the compound of his bungalow in violation ofenvironment and heritage laws.
Khan had, however, contended that there was no violationof rules and the construction was allowed by the municipalbody.
