Singer Daler Mehndi has confirmed he sang the title track for superstar Aamir Khan's upcoming movie Dangal.
The 49-year-old Punjabi singer says the track has meaningful lyrics and will infuse energy in the audience.
"My next song is for Dangal. Pritam has given the music for the film. It is a beautiful song. It is the title track. It is a very clean song with meaningful lyrics," Daler Mehndi told PTI
"People will love the song for sure. Whosoever will listen to the track will feel motivated and energetic," he added.
Dangal is based on the real-life story of wrestler Mahavir Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat. The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film releases on December 23.
The Bolo Tara Ra Ra singer has previously sung the title track for Aamir's Rang De Basanti directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
Daler Mehndi has again collaborated with the filmmaker for his upcoming venture Mirzya.
