Chennai: Akkineni Nagarjuna's new film Damarukam was slated to release on October 12, but it has now been postponed to October 19.
The reason behind the delay has not been revealed.
Damarukam is a Telugu socio-fantasy film directed by Srinivasa Reddy. It is loosely based on the novel The Immortals of Meluha and features Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Model-turned-actor Ganesh Venkataraman will be seen in a prominent role.
The music of the film, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, will be released on September 10 in Hyderabad. The audio release will take place amidst bevy of personalities from the Telugu film fraternity. Aditya Music has grabbed the audio rights of the film.
