After playing the bespectacledhero in eight Harry Potter films, British actor DanielRadcliffe says he had grown attached to his glasses anddecided to keep them as a memento.
The 21-year-old actor said that his prop glasses werethe only thing of sentimental value. He recently finishedshooting the final scenes of Harry Potter and the DeathlyHallows, the eighth and last part based on the eponymous boywizard which took upto 10 years of his life, Contactmusicreported.
"I've got two pairs of glasses. One from the seventhfilm, which were lensless. And also I have a pair with lensesfrom the first film which just seem like the tiniest littlethings now. So it's very sweet and they both have quite aplace in my heart. That was the only thing I wanted. I didn'twant the wand, I certainly didn't want the broom, and so thosewere the only things I had my heart set on," said the actor.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows the final inthe franchise is split into two parts and Radcliffe has saidthat the first installment is different to the other films inthe series as the well-known characters will be seen out oftheir comfort zone.
"You see these characters stripped of theircomfortable, safe surroundings and suddenly just out in thewilderness together," he added.
The first part of Harry Potter and the DeathlyHallows will hit the theatres on November 19.
