London:
Dannii Minogue feared she would die on a flight this week.
The Australia's Got Talent judge - who has 23-month-old son Ethan with former boyfriend Kris Smith - was left terrified when her plane from Melbourne to Sydney on Monday was caught up in a thunderstorm and got struck by lightening.
She said: "It happened right next to where I was sitting. I was terrified - I thought it was all over. But no one else seemed worried, which was strange."
The plane eventually landed safely in Sydney, where Dannii was promoting Australian cosmetics company ModelCo.
It isn't the first time Dannii has been involved in a flight drama.
Two years ago, the 40-year-old beauty was flying from the UK to Australia during filming The X Factor when her plane was unable to land.
A friend of the star said at the time: "We had the most terrible landing. We were coming down to land and suddenly shot straight back up again. There was too much cloud and the pilot could not see the runway. It was all very scary."
