The second trailer for upcoming superhero movie Deadpool has arrived, giving fans some new footage that shows how lead actor Ryan Reynolds' character Wade Wilson is transformed into a superhero with an accelerated healing power.
The trailer opens with the protagonist engaged in conversation with a taxi driver. It then continues with him fighting a gang of baddies. Meanwhile, he says: "This is a different kind of superhero story." (Also Read: Deadpool's Christmas Surprise is This Not-So-Merry Teaser)
After diagnosed with terminal cancer, Wade agrees to undergo a rogue experiment in order to be cured.
After the experiment, he emerges alive and says: "Whatever they did to me, it made my body indestructible."
Another interesting scene is when Deadpool, Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) engage in an intense showdown at the end of the trailer.
Directed by Tim Miller, the movie is scheduled to release in the US on February 12, 2016.
