Deepika Padukone At The Cannes Film Festival? Let's Hope It's True

New Delhi: It's like all our dreams are coming true. Actress Deepika Padukone, whose maiden Hollywood film xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage released in January, was spotted hanging out with Hollywood stars at the Oscars after party in February and she was also part of the party which preceded the Golden Globe Awards this year. Now, Deepika Padukone might walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted that the 31-year-old actress is all set to be the new brand ambassador for cosmetics giant L'Oreal Paris, a brand also endorsed by Deepika's colleagues Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to be held from May 17 to May 28 in the French Riviera.

However, no official confirmation about Deepika's debut appearance at the Cannes has been received either from the actress or her team. But what we know is that Deepika never fails to surprise. The Bajirao Mastani actress rubbed shoulders with Hollywood stars and caught up with Priyanka Chopra at the Oscars after party hosted by Vanity Fair. She successfully stole some of the limelight from the other star guests at the party as she arrived looking stunning dressed in black and gold.

Deepika Padukone looked like a ray of sunshine at the Golden Globes after party this year - she opted for a yellow, one-shoulder flowy gown and we could not take our eyes off her.
 Deepika Padukone is currently filming her upcoming Bollywood film Padmavati, which is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Deepika plays the protagonist, Rani Padmavati, in Mr Bhansali's ambitious period drama.
