Chennai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will attend the audio launch of superstar Rajinikanth's Tamil period-drama Kochadaiyaan here on Sunday.
Deepika essays the role of princess Vadhana in the film, which is directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin.
"(I'm) very happy (that) Deepika Padukone, our princess Vadhana, will be in Chennai for the music launch," posted Soundarya on her Twitter page.
Besides Deepika, Shah Rukh Khan will be present at the event.
Kochadaiyaan, which is supposedly India's first motion capture photo-realistic animated film, features Deepika, Jackie Shroff, R Sarath Kumar, Aadi Pinisetty and Shobana in important roles.
Touted to be made along the lines of Hollywood films Avatar and Tin Tin, the film has been jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.
