Deepika Padukone is currently busy shooting for Farah Khan's Happy New Year

Actress Deepika Padukone will notbe able to make her Hollywood debut with Fast and Furious 7,primarily due to date issues.
There were reports that Deepika was finalised forHollywood film Fast and Furious 7. The makers needed Deepikato allot dates as early as September 10.
However, she is committed to shooting with Shah RukhKhan for Happy New Year and has to promote Sanjay LeelaBhansali's Ramleela.
Her official spokesperson had recently said in astatement that, "Deepika was offered to be a part of the nextFast And Furious movie. She is a huge fan of the franchiseand it's disappointing not to be able to do it. Unfortunately,the movie goes on the floors immediately and that left tooshort a time for her to shift her existing date commitments tothe producers of Ramleela, Happy New Year and FindingFanny Fernandes."
"I think a lot has been said. I have never beencomfortable to talk about what doesn't happen, I rather focuson what is happening," Deepika said.
Reportedly, Deepika had beaten Kangana Ranaut andChitrangada Singh, who had undertaken screen test for therole.
