Deepika Padukone, Vin Diesel Make an xXx Promise. Or is That a Threat?

New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone, who freshly joined the sets of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, has been instantly thrust headlong into publicity duty with co-star Vin Diesel, featuring in a series of photos and videos on social media.  xXx: The Return of Xander Cagebegan shooting in January, while Deepika joined the unit in February. In an interview to NDTV earlier, Deepika, who is making her Hollywood debut, said: "I am moving out of my comfort zone, working with some very new people in a new set up."

The film, which also stars Nina Dobrev, Samuel L Jackson, Ruby Rose, Jet Li and Tony Jaa, is the third instalment in the xXx franchise. It is expected to release in 2017.
