Deepika Padukone in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

Actress Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which also stars action star Vin Diesel, will have a special India premiere ahead of its release in January 2017.
In an interview given to news channel CNN News18, Vin revealed that the first thing the Bollywood star asked after coming onboard was to have an India premiere of the film.
"When Deepika first met us to talk about the role she said, 'If I do this role you have to promise me one thing that we do a premiere at India'. And just last week we were scheduling a premiere in India for January 2017. So it's really going to happen," the 49-year-old actor said.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage is set to hit theatres on January 20, 2017 worldwide.
The movie, which is the third installment in the xXx series, also stars Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann, Ruby Rose and Samuel L Jackson.
