Gajanana, the first song from Bajirao Mastani, was launched by actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in Pune's Bhalewadi Stadium on Tuesday. However, 'Mission Bhalewadi' was finally successful and the devotional song in praise of Lord Ganesh was released with an excited crowd cheering Ranveer and Deepika on.
The makers of Bajirao Mastani were making the most of Ganesh Chaturthi, which is just two days away.

Bajirao Mastani has been made under the stewardship of Sanjay Leela Bhansali who directed both Ranveer and Deepika in 2013's Ram-Leela. They play the titular Maratha general Bajirao I and his warrior queen Mastani. Actress Priyanka Chopra also stars as Bajirao's first wife Kashibai.
