The latest buzz is Deepika Padukone is a frontrunner to star opposite Salman Khan in Ramesh Taurani's Ladies and Gentleman. Raj Kumar Santoshi directs.
The actress has consistently mentioned in interviews that she's love to work with the Dabangg star. In the past as well, rumour mills said the two stars come together in Ready, Kick and Bodyguard, but nothing worked out.Adds the source, "Deepika was so kicked about working with Salman that she hasn't charged her market price. This is not something she does often."
However, Taurani maintains, "The film goes on floors in December but we haven't locked an actress yet." He also claims that the film has only one heroine, not three.
Deepika was unavailable for comment.
