Oscar-winner Charlize Theron is in talks to play theevil queen Ravenna in the adaptation of famous fairytale.The role is likely to reunite Depp with his Alice inWonderland producer Joe Roth, The Wrap reported.The movie is being developed by Universal Pictures butthe studio is yet to confirm Depp's involvement in theproject.
The new adaptation focuses more on Eric, the bountyhunter/hunstman who Ravenna hires to find and kill Snow White.He eventually refuses to kill the girl, instead tagging alongwith her as mentor.
Evan Daugherty is writing the script and RupertSanders is attached to direct. The fantasy movie is slated torelease on December 21, 2012 while the shooting will begin inJanuary next year.
