As Dhaka struggles to cope with a horrific terror attack in a restaurant on Friday, celebrities from India have tweeted prayers and solidarity.
At least 20 people were killed and 13 hostages were rescued from an upscale restaurant in the heart of Dhaka after over a 10-hour long siege by heavily-armed terrorists. Six gunmen were also killed and one was captured alive in a dawn raid today, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said.
Celebrities, including actors Soha Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, have tweeted:
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina condemned the terror attack and said in a televised speech: "It was an extremely heinous act. What kind of Muslims are these people? They don't have any religion."
