After impressing critics and audiences alike in R Balki's Shamitabh, actor Dhanush has gone 'fully local', as seen in the trailer of his upcoming Tamil film Maari, which is slated for release on July 17.
In the film, Dhanush will reportedly be seen as local hooligan, who goes with the catchphrase "Will finish you off".
The action-packed trailer features the Raanjhanaa star in a dhoti-clad, cigarette-smoking and twirled-moustache look.
Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Maari is jointly produced by R Sarath Kumar, Radikaa Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen.
