Dhanush made his Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa
Chennai:
After the overwhelming success of recently released Tamil romantic-drama Ethir Neechal, which was produced by Dhanush's home banner, the actor has decided to produce his yet-to-be-titled next project as well.
"Guys, glad to announce on my birthday that we just designed a project in Wunderbar Films, starring myself and Amala Paul," Dhanush posted on his Twitter page on Sunday (July 28, 2013).
The film will be helmed by debutant director Velraj, who had previously worked as cinematographer in Dhanush's films such as Polladhavan, Aadukalam and 3.
Composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to take care of the music department, while the title of the film will be revealed soon.
As a producer, Dhanush struck gold with Ethir Neechal, which was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 5 crore. It earned over Rs 30 crore at the box office.
Meanwhile, Dhanush has a very busy year ahead. While his Tamil project Naiyaandi with National award winning director Sargunam is coming to a close, he also has two more Tamil projects lined up.
He is also expected to team up with Raanjhanaa director Anand L. Rai again next year.
