Why This Kolaveri Di made National Award winning actor Dhanush a household name and the actor is now busy shooting for his debut Bollywood film Ranjhana. So far so good.
But here's the difficult part. The talented son-in-law of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is not fluent in Hindi and will have to take special lessons to play the role of a boy from Varanasi.
According to reports, director Aanand L Rai is helping the Tamil actor with his Hindi by giving Dhanush some of Raj Kapoor's films like Shree 420, Awaara and Mera Naam Joker on DVD.
Dhanush will be romancing Sonam Kapoor in the film, which is a romantic comedy like the director's last film, Tanu Weds Manu .
Dhanush has reportedly hired a Hindi tutor and is convinced that he will be fluent by the time shooting wraps, which, in turn, will open up more avenues in Bollywood.
Dhanush, who has appeared in over 24 films, has three films on hand right now. He tweeted: "It's gonna be Mariyaan, Ranjhana and then vetri's :)"
