New Delhi:

Dharmendra's X profile (previously called Twitter) is a sheer delight. On Tuesday, the actor shared a set of pictures with his son Bobby Deol, along with actor Aamir Khan and his son Azad. "Yaadon ki Baaraat," he captioned the post and added, "Aai ...bahut hi pyaaree mulaaqaat ....Aamir aur uske pyaree bete ki saath...Yaadon ki Baaraat (A very lovely meeting today... with Aamir and his cute son)." Dharmendra's caption was with reference to his 1973 film Yaadon ki Baaraat. The film's title also means memories, which is what Dharmendra's post is all about. Yaadon ki Baaraat, directed by Aamir Khan's uncle Nasir Hussain, featured Dharmendra in the lead role. The film featured little Aamir Khan as the younger version of his cousin Tariq Khan's character Ratan. Tariq Khan played Dharmendra's younger brother in the film. Simply put, Dharmendra's caption is "Yaadon ki Baaraat" indeed.

On the work front, Dharmendra recently starred in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani that released last month. Dharmendra, who starred as Rocky Randhawa's (Ranveer Singh) onscreen grandfather, trended a great deal for his onscreen kiss with Shabana Azmi in the film. At the film's success bash, Dharmendra spoke about the viral scene and he said, "Yeh toh mere baayen haath ka khel hai (this is such an easy task for me). Bohut maza aaya (had a great deal of fun)." He added, "Jab jab mauka milta hai, chhakka maar deta hoon (whenever I get an opportunity, I make full use of it)."

Aamir Khan, who was married to filmmaker Kiran Rao for 15 years, announced divorce in July 2021. They continue to co-parent son Azad and they are frequently pictured together. In terms of work, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which released in August last year. The actor also had a cameo appearance in Revathy's Salaam Venky, starring Kajol in the lead role.
