Los Angeles Actress Diane Kruger has dismissed reports suggesting that she is engaged to long time boyfriend Joshua Jackson.
The 35-year-old, who has been dating the actor since 2006 and also lives with him, said she doesn't believe in marriage and what matters is the commitment you make in your heart, reported Aceshowbiz.
Reports of engagement emerged following news that Jackson gave her a $45,000 diamond necklace instead of a ring.
The Dawson's Creek actor is said to have bought the lavish gift at a Nights in Monaco benefit gala he attended together with his longtime girlfriend.
"Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don't believe in marriage. I believe in a commitment that you makein your heart. There's no paper that will make you stay. A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning," Kruger said.
