Did Michael Jackson voluntarily drink a deadly sedative?
New Delhi: Was Michael Jackson's craving for propofol the reason for his death that fateful night?

Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray, who pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter last month, said in a police affidavit that Jackson craved the deadly sedative to treat his insomnia and that for him the drug was 'milk'.

This theory will be the question that defence attorneys will use in their favour at the trial, which will begin March 24.

Anesthesiologist Dr. Barry Friedberg, who could be a possible expert witness, claims that Murray's lawyers will argue that "Jackson could have swallowed propofol" himself. There are traces of drug in Jackson's digestive system, which could only have gotten there from drinking it up.

Whether Friedberg will make the witness list will be clear come Monday, when both the defence and the prosecution are required to produce their lists.
