After PK's historic Rs 100-crore in China, Bollywood has good news from Indian shores as well with its latest offering, Dil Dhadakne Do, cruising into the box office with a little over Rs 22 cr in two days.
Interestingly, the figure is very close to what its predecessor Tanu Weds Manu Returns made in the same time. Aanand L Rai's hilarious comedy, starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, which gave Bollywood its first Rs 100 crore last week, had earned Rs 21.85 crores within two days of its release.
Starring Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Shefali Shah, Dil Dhadakne Do revolves around the batty Mehra family who are put by director Zoya Akhtar puts them on board a cruise trip so they can solve all their problems.
