Romance and relationships take centre-stage in the hotly-anticipated first trailer of Dil Dhadakne Do. Taking off from where most Bollywood romances end, the film explores the roller-coaster journey of the dysfunctional Mehra family. (Also Read: Mehras 'Embark on Epic Journey' in Brand New Poster)
Actors Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah are endearing as the disgruntled Mr and Mrs Mehra who 'want their son married' and their daughter 'not to get divorced.' Ranveer Singh shines as Anil Kapoor's flamboyant and reckless son Kabir Mehra, while Priyanka Chopra excels as the Mehra beti Ayesha, who's facing issues in her married life and wants to divorce her husband (Rahul Bose).
With exotic locations, sweeping views and grand sets forming the perfect backdrop, Dil Dhadakne Do seems to be a heady cocktail of romance, drama and tears and will perhaps be 2015's most dramatic film. The film, which is director Zoya Akhtar's next feature after 2011's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, hits theatres on June 5.
