Saira Banu issued a series of tweets from her husband's Twitter handle
New Delhi: Legendary actor Dilip Kumar has been pronounced 'not guilty' by a Mumbai court in an 18-year-old case, allegedly about a bounced cheque. Dilip saab, 94, was not present in court.

Dilip saab's legal wrangles involve a Kolkata-based business company named GK Exim India Private Limited. The actor, who was honorary chairman back in 1998, was implicated in the case along with three other directors because of the post that he held. The court today absolved Dilip saab and another accused of all charges and held two directors 'guilty.'

Yesterday, his wife Saira Banu sought 'prayers and support' from fans of the actor. (Also Read: Dilip Kumar's 'Tearful Moment' at Padma Awards Ceremony)

Ms Banu, 73, did not elaborate about the case on Twitter but was quoted as saying by mid-day.com, "Since the matter is sub-judice, I cannot reveal anything about it. Yes, it has been a long-drawn case, I want his fans to pray for him."
