Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani, which stars big Bollywood names like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanaka Chopra, is a little short of the 100 crore benchmark and has garnered Rs 98 crores so far. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection figures on Twitter:

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's much-awaited release Dilwale, managed a score of Rs 102.65 in its first week, ranking third in the "Week one top scorers of 2015" category. Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo continues to freeze the first two positions in the list, while Bajirao Mastani is the fourth movie in order. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Dilwale also stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon as leads.
However, Mr Adarsh also notified that the 'tables have turned', as Bajirao Mastani is expected to surpass Dilwale at the box office race very 'soon'.

Hollywood's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which released overseas on December 18, made it to the Indian theatres on December 25 and minted a total of Rs 4.58 crores.
