New Delhi: The Supreme Court issued a notice on August 7 to actress Dimple Kapadia on the basis of a petition filed by Anita Advani seeking restoration of her complaint of being subjected to domestic violence following the death of film star Rajesh Khanna.
An Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu issued a notice on Ms Advani's plea challenging a Bombay High Court order, quashing her complaint of domestic violence against Ms Kapadia and others.
Senior counsel C A Sundaram, who appeared for Anita Advani, told the court that his client had been living with Mr Khanna for 25 years after his estrangement from Ms Kapadia.
