Bigg Boss contestant Dimpy Mahajan, who still goes by her ex-husband Rahul Mahajan's last name, has sent forth a tweet quoting Michael J Fox:
"One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless it is surrendered."
— Dimpy (@dimpy_mahajan) December 10, 2014
The tweet comes in the wake of a close encounter she had with her former husband at a televised party in the Bigg Boss house. It could, of course, simply be coincidence and it's entirely possible Dimpy just finds the words inspiring. By all accounts, though, Dimpy's poolside confrontation of Rahul was emotional and harrowing. (Also Read: Dimpy's Encounter With Ex-Husband Rahul Mahajan on Bigg Boss 8)
How she's tweeting from inside the Bigg Boss house at all is a question begging to be answered, given that the Bigg Boss contestants are supposed to be completely secluded from the world outside while they're on the show. This season has, however, seen rules relaxed to some degree with two contestants - Sonali Raut and Gautam Gulati allowed out on a shopping spree - and now this party.
Actress and model Dimpy was playing waitress at a party to which the contestants were allowed to invite their celebrity friends from outside the house. Rahul Mahajan, who is an alumnus of Bigg Boss season two, was apparently invited by Dimpy's fellow contestant Gautam Gulati. We don't if she knew he was going to be at the party or if his presence took her by surprise. Rahul, for his part, told Times of India that he wasn't going to the party for Dimpy. Other guests included father-son actors Pankaj and Nikitin Dheer, Kashmira Shah, Suchitra Pillai and Rahul's Bigg Boss colleague Sambhavna Seth.
Rahul Mahajan also put out a cryptic lifehack-style tweet this morning but there's no knowing if he meant it in response to Dimpy's:
Ppl take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness , just because they are not on your road does not mean they are lost.Good morning

Rahul met Dimpy Ganguly, as she was then, on reality show Rahul Dulhania Le Jayega and the couple married in 2010. Some reality TV appearances later, they separated with Dimpy accusing Rahul of domestic abuse. They reportedly filed for divorce this year.
Rahul is the son of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan. Dimpy, originally from Kolkata, has participated in beauty contests and model hunts and appeared in Bengali films.
